Education

Educational History:

I graduated from Belton High School in 1996 and the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in 2000.

Degrees and Certifications:

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  I am certified in Early Childhood, Elementary, and ESL.  

Professional Development:

I am trained in Dyslexia Intervention Program and Reading by Design for dyslexic students.  

Current Position:

I started teaching with Troy ISD in 2014.  I am the dyslexia interventionist for the district and support dyslxia students at each campus.  I am also the ESL campus coordinator for Troy Elementary.  

Previous Position:

I began teaching in 2000.  I have taught Pre-K through Eighth grade students.  

Family Information:

My husband and I were married in 2000.  We have three children, two recent graduates of Troy High School and one who attends Troy ISD.
