TROY

Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Rebecca Spiers, formerly Miss Bachtel, and I teach English, Reading, Language Arts (ELAR) and Social Studies at Troy Elementary School.

After high school, I attended Temple College to get my feet wet in the education world. Right off the bat, my professor had me in the field learning from the experts. Two years later, I attended Texas A&M - Central Texas where I graduated with a Bachelor's in Childhood Education, PreK-6th Grade.

As a teacher, I am a farmer, sowing seeds of wisdom and innovation into hundreds of little plants, who will one day grow up and change the world. Teaching is not just a job, it is a work of art.
