TROY

I am beginning my 6th  year at Troy Elementary.   I teach Reading, Writing, and Social Studies.  

 I had the opportunity to work as a paraprofessional at Mays Elementary for 3 years.  From there, I served as a substitue for grades PreK-5^th grade for 5 years.   These combined experiences led me to finish my college degree, and begin my teaching career at Temple ISD.   I taught 1^st grade for 5 years before proudly returning to Troy ISD.  I am beginning my 6th year  in Troy as a third grade teacher.

I have been married for 28 years to my amazing husband, Scott.  We have 3 children:  Tori, age 28,  Zachary, age 25,  and Mackenzie, age 13.    We also have a very spirited grandchild, Talon, age 8.    Mackenzie is a proud Trojan in 7^th grade.  

I enjoy running and watching HGTV in my free time.  We also like to go camping whenever we get a chance!
