I attended Troy Schools from Kindergarten-12th grade and graduated in 1999. After high school I attended Temple College and then transfered to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I graduated from UMHB in 2008.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology at UMHB. I am certified as a 4th-8th Generalist, Special Education and ESL teacher.
I have been teaching at Troy Elementary since 2014. I will be teaching 5th grade Math during the 2020-2021 school year.
I taught 4th grade math and science for 4 years and taught Special Education for 2 years at Troy Elementary. Prior to teaching at Troy Elementary I taught in Killeen at Meadows Elementary School for one year. I taught 5th grade reading, math, science and social studies.
I am married and have two daughters, ages 17 and 11. Both my daughters have also attended Troy schools since Kindergarten. We have 2 dogs and a cat that are apart of our family, as well.
In my free time I love to bake breads, cookies and pastries. I also love to go and support my daughters in their activities. We spend a lot of time at the softball field and at livestock competitions.
